A way I use to promote my music is through the Playlists listed below. I have my songs on all of them. If you listen to the Playlist, you end up streaming my music, which helps me immensely. I technically make a small amount of money for every stream. But I think it works out to $.003 to $.005 per stream. In other words, if my song streams 1000 times, I make three dollars. lol. It’s more a sign that people are into my music, and that, hopefully, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
I promote my Playlists through doing adds (which costs me money), so that new people can find the Playlists and then they Playlists will continue to grow with even more subscribers. And this provides me, and everyone else on the Playlists, with more streams. So if you want to help me out as an artist, then please subscribe and listen to my Playlists. It truly means a lot to me.
If you’re an artist yourself, and you would like me to review one of your songs to potentially put it onto one of the Playlists, then please email me at francescavankeeken@gmail.com and I will explain how it works. I charge a fee ($25.00 US) to review each song. And, if I think it meets the criteria of one of my playlists, then I will add it. I can’t guarantee that your song will make it onto a Playlist. That’s technically illegal, and violates the Spotify terms of service. But I’m trying as hard as I can to support my fellow artists. Especially if you’re Canadian. As you can see, two of my playlists directly support and promote Canadian artists.
